- [IKE24-21]【Driver’s License Knowledge Test Now Available in 20 Languages】

The driver knowledge test can be taken in 20 languages now.
The knowledge test is a written test consisting of questions on safe driving and related laws.
Languages：
Arabic, Indonesian, Ukrainian, Urdu, English, Korean, Khmer, Sinhalese, Spanish, Thai, Tagalog, Chinese, Nepali, Hindi, Vietnamese, Persian, Portuguese, Myanmar, Mongolian, Russian
You can take the driver knowledge test in 20 languages in the following license categories:
●Class 1 license to drive cars and motorized bicycles.
●Class 2 license to drive buses, taxis and other passenger-carrying vehicles, or designated driver service of standard size cars.
●Provisional license for practicing driving for those who aim at class 1 license.
The knowledge test for small motor vehicle license is only available in Japanese and English.
When you submit an application for the driver’s license test, please tell them that you wish to take the test in a foreign language.
In Kanagawa Prefecture, the driver’s license test can be taken at the Driving License Center, a 15-minute walk from Futamatagawa Station on the Sotetsu Line.
