[IKE23-08]【Certificate of Eligibility Can be Received by E-mail】: You can now receive a Certificate of Eligibility “ZAIRYU SHIKAKU NINTEI SHOMEISHO” by e-mail, as of March 17, 2023.
The e-mail you received can be transferred to the foreign national concerned who lives outside Japan.
This reduces the effort, time, and cost of sending the original Certificate of Eligibility internationally.
The foreign national concerned living outside Japan can apply for a visa and landing permission by showing this e-mail on his/her smartphone.

■Who can receive a Certificate of Eligibility by e-mail
（1）Those who apply for a Certificate of Eligibility online.
（2）Those who have registered with the Immigration Bureau’s website in advance and apply for a Certificate of Eligibility at a regional immigration office.
