Learn how to read and write in Japanese with“Tsuruma Yomikaki no Heya” (Tsuruma Reading and Writing Lessons)
■June - July Courses
1. Dates: June 5 through July 3, Tuesdays 10:00 to 12:00
Location: Yamato-shi Shogai Gakushu Center
10-minute walk from Yamato Station on the Odakyu Enoshima Line or Sotetsu Line.
2. Dates: June 4 through July 2, Mondays 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Location: Yamato-shi Hoken Fukushi Center
5-minute walk from Tsuruma Station on the Odakyu Enoshima Line
■Non-Japanese residents of Yamato city; Non-Japanese people working or attending school in Yamato can sign up for the courses.
Applicants should be able to read and write simple Japanese.
■Lesson Contents
Learn to read notices sent home from school, help-wanted classified advertising, etc.
■Fee: 1,000 yen
■Application
Please visit or call Yamato City Hall, Kokusai, Danjo Kyodo Sankaku-ka (;International and Gender Equality Department) by June 1, Friday.
