- [IKE23-35]【What to Do in Case of Water Outage During a Disaster】
-
You may face a water outage in times of heavy rain or earthquakes.
Here are some do’s and don’ts when your water supply is cut off.
①Immediately close the main water valve by turning it clockwise. This will prevent mud or muddy water from entering the water pipes in your house.
②Do not flush the toilet. There is a risk of sewage backflow if the drainpipes are broken.
③Bring a backpack or rolling suitcase to a water station. Carrying water in a tank may hurt your back.
