[IKE24-14]【Be Careful of Water-related Accidents】: Rivers are great fun to play in but can turn into terrifying places at times.
To play safely, be attentive to the weather and river currents.
Signboards near the rivers tell you what to be cautious about when playing in the river. Make sure you read through beforehand.

Rules for playing in the river:
・Remember you are in a natural water environment. Be responsible for your own safety.
・Always be with your friends and look after each other while having fun.
・Check out the location beforehand. Be attentive to the weather and currents while playing.
・Wear a life vest properly.
・Wear clothes that are easy to dry after getting wet.
・Wear shoes (such as water shoes) that are less likely to slip off when wet. Beach sandals are dangerous as they can come off easily.

Evacuate immediately in the following cases, as river water levels can rise very quickly and dangerous.
・When you see dark clouds in the upstream direction.
・When you see tree leaves, driftwood or other debris floating down the river.
・When it starts to rain.
・When you hear thunder.

Don’t ever take shelter from rain under a bridge!
