[IKE25-5]【Parenting Chart Revised】: The “Parenting Chart for Foreign Residents” is revised whenever the relevant laws or systems are changed.

1 STEP1 ② Please notify the municipal office of your pregnancy (NINSHINTOEDOKE) after the doctor confrmed the fetal heartbeat. At the municipal office, a Maternal and Child health Handbook (BOSHITECHO) will be issued to you.
２ STEP2 ⑧ A child allowance (JIDOU-TEATE) is paid to persons who have registered as residents in Japan and are raising children (up to High school student) who meet the requirements to receive a child allowance.

The chart explains processes ranging from pregnancy and childbirth to enrollment in elementary school - the information useful for foreign residents who will give birth and raise children in Japan. Please share this chart with anyone who may need this information.
