[IKE19-21]【Increases in Consumption Tax "SHOHIZEI" and Postage】: ●From October, consumption tax "SHOHIZEI" is increased from 8% to 10% in general.
Although tax on food and beverages remains the same at 8%, please note that alcoholic beverages and dining-out (meals served and eaten at restaurants, etc.) are subject to the 10% tax rate.

●In accordance with the consumption tax hike, postal charges are also increased from October.
Please refer to the following:
Postcards：62 yen → 63 yen
Letters：25 grams or under: 82 yen → 84 yen
50 grams or under: 92 yen → 94 yen
Letter Pack Light：360 yen → 370 yen
Letter Pack Plus：510 yen → 520 yen

You can use the previous stamps or postcards you already have by adding stamps for the difference.
Previous stamps and postcards can be exchanged for new ones, but this will cost 5 yen each.
Please ask more at post offices "YUBINKYOKU".
International postal charges will not be changed.
