Do not ever step onto the tracks to pick up something you have accidentally dropped.
It is extremely dangerous, as you may get electrocuted or be run over by a train.
●If you drop something onto the tracks
Immediately notify the station staff.
The station staff will first confirm safety and then pick up your belongings.
Some stations have intercoms on the platforms to inform the staff.
Be careful not to press the emergency stop button by mistake.
●When someone has fallen down onto the tracks
In case of life-threatening situations like someone falling down onto the tracks, push the emergency stop button on the platform.
Then, the station staff will rush over and trains will come to an emergency stop.
Please note that if you push the emergency stop button by mistake, you may be subject to penalties.
