- [IKE14-54]“Handy Notebook for Disaster Preparation” has been released

In the case of an earthquake or other major disaster, electricity can be cut off, and the Internet and
telephone connections can be lost. It may be difficult to contact family and friends.
In your copy of “Handy Notebook for Disaster Preparation” fill in necessary information including “the nearest evacuation center,” “about myself,” and “important contact numbers.”
Disaster Emergency Message Dial 171 is a service that allows you to record a message regarding your safety status as well as access recorded messages about the safety status of your family and friends. Instructions on how to use the service are available in the “Handy Notebook for Disaster Preparation.” You can practice using the service on the 1st and 15th of each month from 12:00 midnight to 12:00 midnight. Let’s practice in case we need it when a disaster occurs.
