Medical checkups and vaccinations help to support the health of babies and children. Please check with your local city or ward office for dates and locations.
■Baby and Toddler Medical Checkup
Depending on the municipality, health checkups for children are provided at 4 months, 8 to 10 months, 18 months, and 3 years of age. Height and weight are measured. Medical exam by a doctor is also available.
■Immunization Program
Vaccinations are injections and other programs that protect against infectious diseases
Some vaccinations are free and others have a fee. Regular vaccinations are free of charge. Influenza vaccinations require payment of a fee.
Children’s vaccination schedule as well as precautions before and after the vaccination are available online in a multilingual format. Please read it carefully.
