Here we introduce fireworks shows and international festivals in Kanagawa Prefecture. In case of bad
weather, fireworks shows may be postponed or cancelled.
Fireworks Shows
Roads around the fireworks shows will be very congested on event days. Please take care not to separate from family or friends.
■Miura Summer Night Fireworks Show (Hanabi Taikai)
Date: Aug. 6 (Thu.) 19:30 - 20:15
Location: Miura Coast Swimming Beach
5-min. walk from Miura Kaigan Stn., Keihin Kyuko Line
■Sagamihara Summer Night Fireworks Show (Hanabi Taikai)
Date: Aug. 22 (Sat.) 19:00-20:15
Location: Upstream Sagami-gawa River, Takadabashi Bridge, Sagamihara City
From the South Exit of Hashimoto Stn. on the JR Yokohama Line, Sagami Line, or Keio Line, or
Kamimizo Stn. on the JR Sagami Line, take the bus bound for Tana Bus Terminal. It’s a 15-min. walk
from the last stop.
■Shonan Hiratsuka Fireworks Show (Hanabi Taikai)
Date: Aug. 28 (Fri.) 19:00-20:00
Location: Sagami-gawa River mouth, Hiratsuka City
From the South Exit of Hiratsuka Stn. on JR Tokaido Line, board the bus bound for Suka-minato and get off at the last stop. It takes about 10-min. by bus.
