[IKE15-28]New Rules for Bicycle Riders: Starting June 1, anyone who is cautioned by police more than twice in the period of three years for dangerous bicycle riding will be required to take a class. The fee for the class is 5,700 yen. Cyclists are prohibited from using the pedestrian lane on the right side of the street. Follow the rules to ensure safety when riding a bicycle.
