Medical checkups and vaccinations help to support the health of babies and children. Please check with your local city or ward office for dates and locations.
□Baby and Toddler Medical Checkup
Depending on the municipality, health checkups for children are provided at 3 to 4 months, 8 to 10 months, 18 months, and 3 years of age. Height and weight are measured. Medical exam by a doctor and a dental checkup are also available.
□Immunization Program
Vaccinations are injections that protect against infectious diseases.
Routine vaccinations are provided free of charge, while voluntary vaccinations need to be paid for.
For your child’s vaccination, please make an appointment at a nearby clinic.
Children’s vaccination schedule as well as precautions before and after the vaccination are available online in a multilingual format. Please read it carefully.
