People raising children (through junior high school) in Japan are eligible to receive a child allowance.
People now receiving a child allowance will receive a present condition update form sent from the municipality. Fill in the necessary information and post it to your city hall or ward or village office. It is necessary to file the form to receive the child allowance. If you are not sure about the procedure, please ask at your city hall or ward or village office.
