Colored contact lenses are designated as “specially controlled medical device” under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Law. It is important to use and care for them properly.

□Attention before use
・Get an eye exam before purchasing colored contact lenses. Depending on the quantity of tears, any allergies, or eye disease, it may not be possible to use colored contact lenses.
・It is important to purchase lenses that have been approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Look for the words “specially controlled medical device” on the product’s packaging.

□Caution during use
・Use the lenses for the specified duration.
・If you notice anything abnormal during use, immediately get checked by an eye doctor.
・Eye diseases can be contagious, so do not borrow or lend the lenses with anyone.
・With repeated use, dirt may adhere to the lenses. Be sure to thoroughly give them the proper care.
