[IKE17-10]Syphilis infection is increasing
Syphilis is a sexually-transmitted disease. Infection is increasing, so please take care.

□In case of infection
Lumps may develop at the infected site. Some people do not have symptoms.

□Prevention measures
Checking with the partner regarding infection status can prevent the spread. Avoid having sexual relations with someone who has been infected or with many people.

□Testing
A blood test will indicate whether infection has occurred.

□In case of infection
It is treatable with medication.

□Other
・If left untreated, serious brain and heart disease complications can occur.
・If a pregnant woman gets infected, the fetus can also become infected, and stillbirth, premature birth, neonatal death, or abnormalities can occur.
・Having syphilis once does not give you immunity so you can get it repeatedly.
