Summer weather is very changeable.
Sudden rainstorms bring heavy rainfall in a short period of time, and lightning is likely to strike. Please take care when going out. Train service may be suspended or delayed.
Before going out, check the TV, Internet, and radio for weather conditions and forecast.
Precautions during sudden heavy rainfall
□Gutters and rivers suddenly become full of running water, so please stay away from them when it’s raining.
□Underground malls can become filled with water, so be careful when it is raining.
□Streets overflowing with water can be dangerous. Please avoid driving or walking along the street in heavy rain.
Precautions during lightning
□Take shelter in a safe place (building, car, train)
□If shelter is unavailable nearby, crouch down to lower yourself.
