[IKE20-12]【Status Update ("Genkyo Todoke") for Child Allowance ("Jido Teate")】: People raising children in Japan, until they graduate from junior high school, are eligible to receive Child Allowance ("Jido Teate").
Those already receiving "Jido Teate" will have a Status Update Form ("Genkyo Todoke") sent to their homes by mail to confirm the present status.
Fill in the necessary items and submit to the local government of your residence. The deadline is the end of June.
"Jido Teate" will not be provided if "Genkyo Todoke" is not submitted. Contact the local government of your residence for any questions you many have.
