- [IKE21-16]【Preventing Heat Stroke】
-
It is getting hot, so please be careful not to get heat stroke.
There are leaflets explaining how to prevent heat stroke in multiple languages.
Use them as reference.

●Wearing masks
Wearing masks in a hot, humid environment may increase the risk of heat stroke.
Remove your mask outdoors if you can keep enough distance (at least 2 meters) from others.
When wearing a mask, avoid intense work or exercise and frequently drink fluids, even if you do not feel thirsty.
Also, you need to take a break at a place where you can keep a safe distance from others, so you can remove your mask temporarily.
●Using air conditioning
Using air conditioners is effective in preventing heat stroke.
To prevent COVID-19, however, occasional ventilation is necessary by opening windows or using ventilator fans,
even when you are using an air conditioner.
Adjust the air-conditioner temperature settings, as ventilation is likely to raise room temperature.
