[IKE12-46]Scholarship Available
High school, vocational school, and university students with foreign nationality, or who originally had foreign nationality, are eligible for living expenses support
Students who satisfy items 1, 2, and 3 below are eligible.
(1) Students living in Japan who have foreign nationality or who originally had foreign nationality in either of the two categories shown in “a” and “b” below.
a) Refugees from Indochina, Refugee Convention, and their children
b) Children of returnees from China or long-term residents of Japanese descent and their children.
※ Applications are accepted from students with the same qualifications as “a” or “b” above.
※ Students in Japan on a study abroad visa are not eligible for this scholarship.
(2) Students for whom payment of education fees is difficult
(3) Students living in Japan as of April 2013 who attend high school, vocational school, or university, or those who will enter school at that time.
