[IKE12-47]Vaccinations for Measles (hashika) and Rubella (fuushin)
With a change in regulations, an immunization program provides free-of-charge vaccinations for measles and rubella to first-year junior high school students and third-year high school students.
Beginning in April, a fee will be charged.
Proof of vaccination is often required as a condition for employment, school entrance, and study overseas. To
prevent the diseases from spreading to family members and friends, it is recommended to receive the
vaccination. For details, please inquire at your local city office or town branch office.

■Eligibility for free-of-charge vaccinations
First year junior high students (born between Apr. 2, 1999 and Apr. 1, 2000); Third year high school students (born between Apr. 2, 1994 and Apr. 1, 1995).
※People who have already been vaccinated this year are not eligible.
