COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate is an official proof of COVID-19 vaccination received under the Japanese Vaccination Law in each municipality.
The Digital Agency has developed the smartphone application to issue a digital version of the certificate.
Using the App, you can certify that you have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
●What you can do using the App：
・Obtain 2 types of COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate, one for domestic and the other for international use.
・Display the Certificate you have obtained at any time by opening the App.
・Check the content of the Certificate by scanning the 2D barcode with another smartphone.
The Certificate includes information such as your name, date of birth, and vaccination record (type of vaccine, date of vaccination, lot number, etc.).
The Certificate for international use also includes your nationality and passport number.
●What you need to apply for the Certificate：
・My Number Card
・My Number Card PIN (4 digit number registered upon receipt of the card)
・Passport (for international travel use)
●How to Install the App：
Go to App Store or Google Play and search for “接種証明書アプリ” (Vaccination Certificate App) to install.
