If there is anything about “My Number Card,” an individual number card under the Social Security and Tax Number System, that you don’t know, call the phone number below and ask. Information is provided in 10 languages.

（If you have difficulty getting through to them, try calling 0570-064-738, although this is not toll free.）
●Operating Hours
English/Chinese/Korean/Spanish/Portuguese: 24ｈ(Hours between 20:00 and 9:29 next morning are only for the requests to suspend the use of “My Number Card.”）
Thai/Nepalese/Indonesian: 9:00-18:00
Vietnamese/Tagalog: 10:00-19:00
My Number Card is an official ID card.
It can be used to open bank accounts or apply for new passports.
You can also request the issuance of residence certificate and other official documents with it through convenience stores.
If you want to apply for your individual number card but do not know how, try calling for advice.
