[IKE22-34]【Entering Elementary School or Junior High School in Japan】: School Year starts in April in Japan.
Japanese schools have unique rules, and there are specific items to prepare and bring to school.

We have made booklets, “10 Tips for an Enjoyable, Safe Time at Elementary School for Foreign Students and Their Guardians” and “10 Tips for an Enriching Junior High School Life in Japan for Foreign Students and Their Guardians”.
They give easy-to-understand explanations on what school life is like and what to prepare before entering, which may be somewhat confusing for non-Japanese residents.
In the booklets, you can also find where to go for advice on any concerns you might have.
