[IKE13-14]Presentation of Present Condition Form for Child Allowance: People raising children in Japan are eligible to receive a “child allowance (jido teate) ”. This applies to children born between April 2, 1998 and June 2013. Residents receiving the child allowance will receive a “present condition form (genkyo todoke) ”from their city, ward, or village office. This form should be filled out and returned to the city, ward, or village office otherwise the child allowance may be not be provided from June onwards. For assistance, please contact your local city, ward, or village office.
